New Programmers Wanted!
Have you ever dreamed of starting a podcast? Sharing your ideas and your opinion with the world? Community radio is a great way to dive in! We have 2 professional-grade studios, in-house training, and an amazing platform to share your views with the world!
We are especially looking for the voices of youth, women, BIPOC (black, indigenous, people of color), LGBTQ, and under represented communities to share their vision, music, activism, politics, and viewpoints with the world.
Community radio is part of the democratic process. Anyone can have a show, no matter what age, race, gender, or interest. Valley Free Radio began with a group of activists who wanted to have open airwaves that are separate from commercial interests. Be part of that tradition; be a part of the VFR community.

Our on-air signal and online streaming will be experiencing intermittent interruptions between 12pm and 3:30 PM today, 12/14/19 due to technical maintenance. Thank you for your patience.
From Nov. 3rd through Nov. 9th, we will be hard at work fundraising to keep our locally-grown radio station on the air and in the black.
We rely on the support of listeners and friends like you to keep VFR going. Please consider donating this week, either here or at our website: www.valleyfreeradio.org/donate, or call in at our studio line (413-585-1033) to make a pledge to one of our locally-produced live programs’ hosts and DJs who will be pitching live on air through next weekend.
All proceeds from our fund drives go directly towards major operational expenses, such as much-needed upgrades repairs to our station equipment.
In addition, we have a matching grant, courtesy of the estate of David S. Dow, which is adding $10 per donor this week .. and when we have 103.3 contributors for the drive, we will get an extra $1,000 on top of that!
Every little bit helps, so we truly appreciate everyone who steps up to help support free local media in the Pioneer Valley – we literally couldn’t do it without you!
Our on-air signal and streaming will be intermittently offline between 2:30 and 3:30 PM today, 7/28/19 for a planned maintenance. Thank you for your support!
